Connected banking

Bank data, with clear boundaries.

QuantERP Books uses Plaid to connect eligible financial accounts and bring selected account activity into the books.

Data access

Information used for a bank connection

Connection details

The financial institution name, account name, account type, masked account number, and connection status.

Balances and transactions

Available account balances and transaction details such as date, amount, merchant or description, pending status, and provider identifiers used to prevent duplicate imports.

Access credentials

A connection token supplied by Plaid. QuantERP stores this token in encrypted form and does not receive online-banking passwords.

How bank data is used

Connected data supports transaction review, categorization, matching, transfers, and reconciliation. QuantERP does not sell connected financial data or use it for advertising.

How access is protected

Connection tokens are encrypted before storage. Company access controls limit who can connect, update, synchronize, or disconnect an account, and connection changes are recorded in the company audit history.

Disconnecting an account

An authorized company owner or administrator can disconnect a bank connection from the Banking workspace. Disconnecting revokes the Plaid connection and removes the stored access token. Imported account and transaction history remains in QuantERP so posted accounting entries, reconciliations, and audit history stay intact.
